    Suhr necks

    hi guys...which Suhr neck has the closest feel to a Charvel? Is it the Even C Slim? or the D shape with a little less shoulder (those where John's words)

    Help is greatly appreciated

      Even C slim or there is another shape used on Reb Beach Model that is slightly thinner than Even C Slim.
      I'd say one of these would do.

      Also another thing is normally Suhr guitars don't offer oil finished necks.
      So you will have to custom order one or buy a used and send it to Suhr to stripe the neck finish(you will need to refret as well).
      Some used Suhr in the market have oil finished necks so you will want to find one of these.

        By the way, D shape is completelly different from Charvel neck.
        I had a Suhr Tele with D shape and the neck really had this huge neck profile.
        So you don't want that.

            Monte, you should PM Eddyrox.
            Maybe E-mail would be better since I don't see him around.
            He has maybe 2 Suhr guitars and he loves them.
            He was thinking of going with GMW but ended up with Suhr.
            He is also a member on Suhr Forum under different ID.
            Great guy to talk with and I met him 5years ago when I used to live in L.A.

              i confirmed with a few people that the Even C Slim neck is the way to go....

              I have a trade going for a Tobacco burst one with a dark rosewood neck and 3 single coils.

              I am excited. This is my first attempt at venturing beyond the GMWs and Charvels.

              I have had a Richie Sambora Fender strat that was always my favorite guitar...so I think I am on the right path going this route.

                Sunburst CLassic with 3 singles... I think that is a JCF member's isn't it?
                I thought you wanted something with humbucker in the bridge position...
