I fell in love with the quilt when I saw it on e-bay. serial begins 910 - so it's from the Leakesville factory, I think. I'm going to go to the Peavey forum at some stage to check dates & places. It sounds good too - quite bassy compared to my axis supersport. The only quirk is a small maple shim (the lacquer goes over it, so it's "as made") under the locking nut. Don't know if the neck was cut too deep at this point & the shim was added to raise the nut over the fretboard?
