I'll get some emgs in there soon though , but the stock pickups are really hot , not bad for stock passive pickups . anyway check it out //Steve

neck is super thin kinda a u or v shape but very playable and thin just looks like it would be thick but it isn't the x 50 is really thicker and the body is quite a bit fatter as well we had both at the store I teach at I could get insane deals on both and I went for the x 30 the only bad thing about it is the cheapo pickups witch aren't that bad but I am gonna get some hz's in there or later on a 81 set //Steve

yes it is it's ok as well , one of my buddies students just got the x50 and really likes it . I like the x 40 with the contour cut thingy on the side of the body , the floyd version but we never got any in , we are limited to what we can get up here in canada as far as finishes and models I don't know if we couldn't get that one in or not . we just had the x 30 and the x 50 both nice guitars //Steve

yeah I am use to it now . still weird looking down the neck and seeing a round headstock though lol I was so use to the cosmetics of a pointy head stock like on my jacksons I use to have or on my esp/ltd 200fm . but at least I won't bust the tip off in my small teaching room on my desk lol //Steve
