Stays in tune suprisingly well considering. You really can't do any divebomb tricks with it but does well for vibtrato. It is actually a dual fulcrum string through. I was never really into strats until I played this one. In fact, this may be a little stupid but, I bought this one without plugging it in to an amp. I liked the "acoustic" sound of it that much. Totally happy with and have never played a better feeling strat. Hope that helps.
