• Black Les Paul Standard - a cry for help

This is probably a long shot on this forum, but here goes. I'm looking for a used black Les Paul Standard. The nicer the condition the better. I am partial to the fatter 50s necks. Ebay prices are ridiculous, and there isn't much of a selection to begin with. If you don't have one but see one on the net or in a store, PM me. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

2002 or newer would be optimal. But I'll be open to others as well.

How much are you looking to spend? So you are looking for a Black Standard with Burst Buckers and a 50's neck right?

The pickups don't matter, but the rest of the guitar sounds perfect.

Thanks to everyone who was on the lookout for me. I wound up buying this guitar this afternoon. It was way more than I wanted, but I really liked it!

                    Close!

They just removed the gold covers hence the gold adjustable polepieces.

You sure that isn't an Epiphone. I can't see the headstock. J/K Congrats again.

I've got a Heritage just like that, except it has three pickups w/gold covers.

So what are the advantages of taking off the covers? Will it give it more bite?

I've always read that you get more high end by doing so, though I've never done the comparison.
