Anyone ever build one of those Saga kits? I know they're not Warmoth quality stuff, but I was wondering if they're at least halfway decent, or if they're just fret buzz machines.

Re: Saga kits?
Nope, but these look pretty good, especially the PRS style kits. There's tons of guitar building stuff on the site as well as some very nice wood blanks and very cheap prices on pickguards, pup rings, etc.

Re: Saga kits?
I built several of the $80.00 Saga kits for friends and they always ended up very nice. I wouldn't hesitate at all from trying any of their kits. I was even considering being a distributor for them. They have really nice violin and mandolin kits too.

Re: Saga kits?
The thing with the Saga kits is that you don't have to grieve if the patient dies on the operating table.

By the way, it was TwisterAmps Pete who originally mentioned that quote when I asked about Saga kits last year, but I can't find the old thread because the search engine will not allow us to search for threads older than nine months.

Re: Saga kits?
if you're gonna get one of the strat kits, get them from brian at universaljems.com he goes through and inspects them, which is helpful.
