wow 2 months..thats pretty quick.. i believe hamer uses a CNC machine to carve their bodies now (that probably saves them a bunch of time right there) but the necks and everything else is still done by hand.. you may have caught them at a quiet time of year too..

that is one of the sweetest hamers i've ever seen

I think that Hamer still does everything by hand. They put out about the same number of guitars in a year as Gibson does in a week. (this may be slightly exagerrated)

the first picture is the slightly oversized rough cut,the second picture is a CNC machine carving the rest of the body to final specs ...
nothing wrong with using CNC at all IMO
