ok here we go...
In my opinion is having fun with a guitar as important as the overal quality of the guitar (as long as it doesn't suck too much). I have a Squier, just a standard strat thing with a maple neck and I love it.. I have so much fun with it, the neck feels so perfect to me and it sounds very good. the single coils are really sparkly
I'm even thinking about picking up one of those squier '51 models (any feedback on those welcome!)
what I'm asking you is:
1. what's your general opinion about squier?
2. does a guitar for you have to be of top quality?
ok I mean, a guitar goes out of tune with every stroke is terrible but easily fixed. I changed the tuners on my squier but that's a minor thing..
I have a beautiful ESP lying around but I spend more time with the squier haha
I also remember a story from this forum that was similar.. someone bought a squier for the same reasons but I don't remember who it was..
