Matt Raines ?

Anyone has anything interesting to tell about this guy and more important the guitars he offers under his name?
I bought for $200 an Ibanez RG-styled guitar with contoured heel, and was wondering where he get's these guitars made [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

I've heard his name mentioned a few times and I can't figure out what his deal is either. He seems to be primarily a musician but he also sells a bunch of guitars branded with his name. In fact, his site is mostly about selling his guitars. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

yep, that's him.
he offers from time to time on ebay also other models then listed on his site.
the reviews in Harmony Central are quite good, so I just wanted to check the toughts here. [img]/images/graemlins/poke.gif[/img]

Apparently there's a factory in Korea that will make anyone a line of guitars - even that guy that has the How To Do A Factory Finish with Krylon book mentioned something about having a company out there make guitars for him to sell.

That's interesting, because my company made a business case study with the 6 major/best Korean factories in the guitar business and I don't believe they are the ones used here.. but it sure would be interesting to know the name(s) of those accepting a low volume order.
