So do you like 21 frets? I don't mind it at all. I think I might even like it better than a 22. THe jump from 22 to 4 always screws with me for a few minutes until I get adjusted. the 21 to 22 never does though. I like 24.75 neck guitars though so maybe that has something to do with it.Comment

I got my first Charvie in late '84, and that 22nd fret screwed me up for the longest time!. I was playing a heavily modded '72 Strat since about '78, and was used to 21 frets.
I had a few Les Pauls before they became totally uncool, and they were obviously 22 frets, but who goes up there on a Les Paul anyway?
Until that Strat fell apart from abuse, the Charvel was a backup anyway! Yeah, I'm fine on 21.Comment
