Use to be a store on East Charleston - Ace Music or something - I don't remember anymore.

I bought a Gibson SG there one time.

I think it is still there. As you are going east on the street the store is on the north side of the street.

Look in the phone book under music stores and look at the street addresses. The one on East Charleston is the store I am speaking of.

same exact story when I was there last. No one there has anytime for you when you come in, and nobody is doing anything. I saw the little trol too, what a tiny little joke. The place is large but full of a few interesting items followed buy hundreds of the same kindergarten crap. I spent about 15 to 20 minutes before someone asked if I needed anything. I was the only one in the store! Did he still have the flag Y2KV hanging in the front? Its covered in dust and about 12' high so no one can reach it! What a dick! I hope he chokes on that guitar! He's even a jerk on the phone. I bought an Iceman from him a few years back. I got a decent price on it, but they didnt include any of the "case candy". So, I had to call them back. They acted like they did me a big favor by sending me what I should have got in the first place.

I was in Vegas 2 years ago....decided not to waste my time in his store, so I toured the Grand Canyon instead [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] It was much better.

Cowtown and AJ's are cool shops. I bought a Gibson Korina V from Cowtown a few years back when I was passing thru Vegas.
I remember Ace music, I regret not buying the old Vox AC30 they had there at the time for dirt cheap.

Ed is an a-hole. I called him about some Steinberger parts a few years ago, and he got all pissed at me because I had the nerve to actually ask him the prices of the parts and hung up the phone on me. Fuck him.

I have talked to Ed Roman many many times...he has tried to buy my LTD on numerous occasions going back to 1996. Although he is full of shit alot of the time, I ve found him to know his facts just as often. I've never completed a deal with him (I've gotten to where the deal was fair but never pulled the trigger), but he will deal with you if you take the time to talk shop with him. The point I'm trying to make is that if he has a piece you are interested in, keep working it and you may get to where you need to be. He didn't get to where he is by not making decent deals, you just have to work a bit to get to them. Yeah, he can be a real douchebag but he also has some cool shit at times.
