Nothing like a good hard tail,I would love a Jake E.Lee signature model guitar either a real one or a copy.I recently saw a parts guitar that almost looked like it with the white strathead warmouth "charvel" logo and all it just had different pick up configuration.
thanks Bro's. I have had a great day! Its got a JB in the bridge and a duncan jazz in the neck. There is a small toggle switch there between the tone pots to split the hums. It is setup with 11's I normally play 9's. It is not bugging me though. The strings just feel tight, tons of sustain. It has an awesome thick tone with lots of diff pickup combos. It is an ash body with see-thru white. Grain looks cool on the back. Awesome. That's almost exactly like a project Strat that I've been wanting to build for a while. White Strats are classy.
nice, a man after my own heart! i'm a strat junky and can't stop buying/building/modding them!! question for you on yours, what's the string spacing of the hardtail? thanks.
I remember reading a Jeff Beck interview in Guitar Player in around 1980. He was talking about his Strat, and he said,
"Nothing looks more 'famous' than a white strat..."
I always though that was perfect, right on the money! Nice Ax!
