that's my all time favorite kramer graphic and i have looked high and low for a clean one like that for quite some time with no luck. very cool guitar! wanna sell it hehehe.
Yeah, it was always my favorite too. Much cooler than the beer mug or Mighty Mouse graphic,,,. I saw an ad in the local paper a few years back, and the guy needed the cash for his house. Also had a couple of other Klein graphics. He was laughing when I forked over the cash, thinking he made out, but for what I've seen the Kramer guys pay for these I think I was the lucky one. Somebody said that Kramer was issued a cease and desist order on these from the Monroe estate because they never got permission to use her likeness. Don't know if it's true...

That brings to mind the seller who laughed & "couldn't believe I would pay this much" in 1996 when I bought my Transparent Green Ernie Ball Music Man Van Halen guitar from him for $1400.
That Marilyn graphic is very cool. Definitely one of Kramer's best. I think Mick Mars had one of these too.
Mine is just straight black on the back. I believe all of the production models were that way. I've never seen a Marilyn tele other than Mick's. Maybe it's just the scan, but it looks like he special ordered a tan for her face, along with the upskirt on the back.
