This is my Les Paul Standard with the amber flame top. The setup on this thing is amazing, but it is very heavy.

wow...nice top on that one! trans amber IMO is one of gibsons best trans colors! very very nice guitar! some zebra pickups would make it perfect IMO!!

Yep, the zebras were my plan. Now thi sthing has a 500T and 498R (covers removed, obviously). For a rock guitar, I gotta say that to 500T does a nice job. Now that I have the 58 Historic (for blues, etc.) I can experiment with this one. Whatever it ends up being, it's gotta be ZEBRA!

I have zebras (technically reverse zebras) 496R/500T in my 1996 Classic Premium Plus. I put in push/pull pots for the tones to allow coil splitting. They are still spanking hot even in single coil mode.
