  • LTD MV200

How is the overall quality of these? The guitar was red, there was a very slight flame to the neck, there is a flamed top, dark orange binding, and it has a tune o matic bridge, 24 frets, a Duncan Designed JB in the bridge, a Duncan Design HotRails in the neck, and a short scale... This guitar has pretty much everything I could wish for. But it's Korean and costs the same as the COW Jackson which i'm currently interested in but which I cannot play. The Jackson won't need updates (well depending on how well it stays in tune, maybe nut and locking tuners) whereas the LTD most likely would. I heard they sold not so long ago for 200 dollars at music123, well this one is 600 EUROS... That's about... 750 dollars I think. Don't forget that it's way more expensive in Europe and I had never seen one of these.
Any feedback on how they're built? Would they match the COW's quality?

I really digged those.. especially the MV300 because of the neck-thru.. it has extreme good upper fret acces..
anyway, the one I played were very nice.. they felt pretty solid. I know some of the guys here really dislike the LTDs but I have good expierances with these.

600 euro is too much imo, even in Europe

I can't compare it too the COWs.. besides the obvious differences (japan vs korea, one hum vs one hum/single)

Haha it was in Amsterdam by the way, I'm back there for the summer (since you live in Holland).
Routing for a pickup is cheap... it'd probably be less than 50 euros. So if I feel the need to do that in the COW ah well... My main concern really would be the quality.

I already have one, I'd like something different, and I want a non trem 24 frets guitar. Both the ESP and the COW would be really good.
