• MusicMan John Petrucci 6-string all options

hey bros,
here is my newest guitar:
a JP with mystic dream finish, matching headstock, piezo and JP-inlays.
this was the reason why i had to sell two guitars.
but now i´m very very happy.

I haven't tried one yet. Is it sick or what? Now all you have to do is learn Erotomania!

Re: MusicMan John Petrucci 6-string all options

the neck has a thin offset backshaping, which is very comfortable to play.
the guitar came setup perfectly, very low action.
they deliver it with .10 - .46 strings.
i used it yesterday at out rehearsalroom, and wow! this axe sounds awsome, especially the piezo PU is a nice thing.
now i play my cleansounds with the piezo over the PA and the normal PUs in middleposition into the cleansound of my amp. that´s amazing!

I love the way the finish changes at different angles. What's the scale length on these?

EBMMs rock. I played one at Atomic Music this past Saturday and it was so sweet. This one had a crack under the finish at the neck joint, which, I guess, is fairly common.

Petruccis and Wolfgangs top my list for "easiest to shred" guitars.

The trem is extremely nice. I play one at a local store, mind you it's not the fully pimped one, but the trem is very stable, doesn't seem to lose tuning stability, even when doing some pretty heavy stuff on it (no vai / VH stuff though) and of course it's shaped after Petrucci's hand, so it fits your side of your palm perfectly when muting and resting the hand on the bridge.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

I've played that one several times, as well. It also has a busted pickup switch--the neck position doesn't work. It is a nice player, and I've been tempted, but I'm not into basswood bodies, and I prefer a Floyd.
