When you consider a pickup for a neckthru guitar, do you need to consider different things that on a bolt on or set neck guitar? I have a 1987 neckthru Kramer Stagemaster Custom, and it has now a Dimarzio Air Zone on it. Do you think is a good mach for this tipe of guitar? what do you recomend?

Not really.
I don't know what kind of guitar that Kramer is though so I can't make any suggestions. What woods does it have? Is it a Strat shape? -

Neck-thru guitars get their predominant sound more from the type of wood the neck is made from; therefore, body wood plays less of a role than it would on a guitar with a bolt-on or set neck.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.Comment
