• Suggest Me Some Luthiers

I'm pricing out an idea for a custom guitar, I was wondering if any of you knew of any makers/luthiers to check out?

This guy is Zeegler's guitar tech, and I had a brief conversation with him about building me a custom guitar, but then I bought a Les Paul and forgot all about it. Here he is anyway. Seems like a really nice guy with great work.

I'm somewhat intrigued by the work done by First Act. I only knew the name from the crappy plywood things that WalMart carries, but apparently they do some really amazing custom work.
please don't put it into words, 'cause I fear what you're thinking

Scott Heatley's stuff is killer. He made me a set neck tele with Les Paul specs / materials that put an end to my search for a great set neck Gibson style guitar.

damn that Freddysfrets.com has some nice work! That Les Paul is damn nice! I like the "Building a LP" walk through. I dig how he laminates the binding to the peg head.
The double neck in the gallery is cool too!

Yup, he's in the Niagara region too, so no friggin' import taxes to deal with when shipping! All 100% Canadian made, yeah!

I have Freddy do anything I'm either too lazy to do, or too scared to do. His prices are very reasonable, and his work is top notch. He's also very busy. If he tells you 4 weeks, it's gonna be 8 weeks.
