Jakes esp's never came with a v-trem, only hardtails.My guess is its a mutt.Or someone's attempt at making a different model into a jake.

I recall reading something that there were earlier models that had Stratheads just like Jake's original models. Not sure if they were for Japan only or not.

Ozzy andy Jake signed that once, the signs were removed later, but you can clearly tell by the white markings left from the pen that it was once

and for the real stratheads
when did ESP stop making real stratheads?

If that headstock doesnt have esp stamped on the back of it, its not real.Not a ink stamp, but one that is in the wood.I have yet to see an esp strathead without it, and the v.p. of esp said that was one of the only ways to tell.
