• ESP Viper custom info and prices...

I recently tried ESP LTD Viper 500 and to my suprise it felt, looked and played good. Much better than any other ESP that was in the same store. I was wondering what are the going prices for ESP Viper Customs in US and has anyone played one? They are made in US right? I know the LTD's are cheaper models and I think the Customs would be much closer in quality to my Jacksons.
Any info on the Viper series is welcome! There is a Viper 1000 on Ebay and it looks amazing too.

Edit: If it's not ok to ask for prices then admins can delete this post and I can concentrate on Jacksons again.

Jani,
Not sure if this would be of interest, there's an ESP Viper in Urban Camo which keeps appearing on the UK eBay, and from what I remember the price is pretty good (£850 / 1250 euros?)
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Thanks Ian but I'm not into the camo graphic. It's too modern looking for me.
From what I've been able to find on the web it seems that the customs are really expensive.

drum city guitar land has a Black Viper Standard coming in. They price their camo standard at $1,199 so it should be around there.

The Viper Standards and Customs are made at the ESP facility in Japan, whereas the LTD Vipers are made at the Samick factory in Korea. Personally, I would stay away from the LTDs. I've never played one that I thought was very good--the LTD Viper 1000s have nice features and hardware, but their build quality is atrocious. A 'real' ESP Viper will be a much nicer guitar.

I also like the Viper shape--they look like an SG from the front, but that's where the similarity ends--they are much thicker than an SG, and balance a lot better.
