Quality on par with anything else, but ridiculously expensive!

These guitars are so hyped and masturbated over, just because James Hetfield has a couple of them.

Nice for you though, great guitars, surely! Can't wait to see the pictures.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

Looks nice. Very similar to James's original Chechen topped one. Nice!

More pics to follow shortly but I its the exact same specs as Hets first one. The inlay has a very small part deleted out of the scene as per James' request. Chechen book matched top and this is as far as I know of the only one piece mahogony body explorer Ken has made he said all the other ones were at least two pieces including James'.

That looks awsome! I love Explorers, but hate playin em out cause you always have the one numbnut who'll make a Metallica comment That's very cool lookin though, I didn't realize Ken made those for regular customers, I thought he stuck to basses?

Holy jesus, you sure you didn't forget a decimal place or anything That's crazy, but he builds some of the most beautiful Explorers I've ever seen. I'd definatly throw down $ for one in the future, assuming he'll still make em when I'm ready. Cool score though dude, congrats!

Cool. How many guitars/basses does he make a year. He's still working for Mesa/Boogie, though, isn't he?

What's that thing inlaid on the fret board? Looks like a rhinocerous with human legs. Weird.
