Doug Bass, formerly of Trillian Guitars. He did some good work for people here. At some point, he came up with some original designs and found some backers so he could scale up big time and go into business. I almost went to work for him out there in Maryland.
Sadly, I don't think Trillian Guitars worked out. That must suck. He was a member in good standing here for a long time, and I don't think he ever did anything to ruin that. He just didn't have time to hang here anymore.

He hates Poplar as much as I do, so he's cool in my book!

yep. pretty much what chuck said. he wasn't banned or anything, he just stopped posting. i never heard of any bad deals that i recall; i just hate the whole counterfeiting shit that he seems to endorse, but we all know that's a sore spot for ol' sully.

for what it is worth...he made the Bad Medicince Kramer that you see on his site...plus he made the 3 humbucker Sambora Kramer from scratch.

The BM was a Kramer that he refinned.

I for one was ripped off by "Mr" Bass on a paint job. It was always "be ready by next week", "shipping tomorrow", or some other BS. Kept the body and the $$$, so he is a thief in my book. Still have the email trail in case anyone cares or has doubts.
