I guess now is not the right time for my to announce that I may soon be in a pop/rock band fronted by one of my longtime female friends... I'm actually serious! Wow, I started a good one -lol. But seriously, to address some of the comments. No, DeLong (sp?) isn't very talented but at least his sig. Strat was something different - and only 500 bucks! This one is not very unique and will cost you $1400! Come on, who here would really consider this over a Yngwie, Clapton, Beck, or SRV Strat? I'm really surprised they made this a USA model.

The question is how do you define talent? personaly i find many different kinds of talent, anyone that can write a good pop song that millions of people like has talent. Talent comes in many different forms, John has it as well as Blink, you may not like there music, but once again they are out there making millions of dollars and getting many beautiful chicks while people sit here and bitch about them. personaly i would rather be in there shoes anyday, making alot of money playing the style of music i love and not gettng up to the damn daily grind and having worry about money!

I find metal fans to be the most hypacritical sometimes, they are the first to get all pissy when someone puts down there music, but then they are first to put down music they dont like
