I think it's pretty cool!! My favorite headstock shape, too. Shame about the Kahler, though. LOL

weren't kahlers original on some of 1hul warlocks with that headstock style ? I think Guy Marchais ( Suffocation ,Pyrexia , Internal Bleeding ) is using such a warlock (okay minus that fugly paintjob ) - kahler and one hum and also rosewood + dots

btw. Whats a good price to pay for such a model ?

That is a really bad Leaming graphic! Wow!....did he get better with time and practice!

The simple Nuclear Hazzard graphic he did on my BC Explorer was awesome!
He also did a bunch of artist guitars as well....his graphics were pretty common on BC's...but again...that's a really really really bad one!

Cool Warlock BTW!....those bound ones are kinda scarce!

Re: How about this Warlock?

Skarhead Guy's warlock originally had V-trems he has them modd'd with Kahlers. i spoke to him about it once. i had no clue who he was, but he had some BCR parts for sale & we got to talking about his warlocks. I believe he has 3 of them. usually they sell for around $1000 for solid color more for trans or natural one.

WX7 is it just me or is that the only one youve seen signed don, all of the ones ive seen were signed SCREAMING LEAMING, could it be someone else who painted it? especially since the guitar was built in 82, painted & signed 83?

Love the guitar, not a fan of the graphic.
I own 5 BC Rich's and love them all (sorry JCF guys).
Early US BC Rich's are amazing.

I can't see why you can't have some of each in a collection. I have/love both

Scott what you got, there are some BCR freaks on this board that would like to see them. & yes im one of them, all of my guitars are either older USA BCRs or USA jacksons, ok 2 arent 1 wayne, one import charvie.

So the guy that did that graphic did a lot of guitar work? That's amazing that someone with such an obvious lack of talent or ability was allowed to molest guitars so horribly. I'd love to see some of his other work.

youve seen some of his work. sceaming Leamming was the guy who made or at least painted some of Randy Pipers customs. the pipe, skull, & chick were at least painted by him & they were pretty killer tho the chick was pure cheese IMO. Ive never gotten an answer if he built guitars or just painted them.

Re: How about this Warlock?

I'm 99.9% certain this was my guitar...which was stolen from my (parents)home in Azusa California in 1983. It was stolen along with a beautiful trans-red Bich 10 string.

The serial # matches what I have in my records and I am the one who did the Kahler mod...actually I paid Roger Gresco who worked at a Covina California guitar shop called 'The Fret House' at the time, to do the work.

The mod was very problematic because the neck angle was wrong and Roger called me to tell me that the only way it could be done is to recess the Kahler into the body...which is what we did ...as shown in those pics.

The graphic was NOT on the guitar when it was stolen. It was just black.

I'm checking with the local PD about a record of the police report and also the insurance company.

btw: Not at all saying your bud stole it...maybe he unwittingly bought stolen property.

I've always kept an eye out for those 2 guitars...and knew someday they would surface.

Wow, it would be so awesome if it is indeed your guitar. Small world, eh?

Re: How about this Warlock?

The story of how it was taken is INCREDIBLE!

I was selling another guitar, an Ibanez, in 'The Recycler', a free-ad publication for anything under the sun, popular at the time in the LA area.

Anyway I get a call from a guy who says 'I want it...' and so I give him my address & wait.

About 1 hour after he is supposed to have been there he calls and says '...Hey dude, my car broke down and I'm a couple of miles from your house, can you come & pick me upand I'll buy the guitar and my friend will come & get me from there.'

So I agree & stupidly go looking for this guy...hey, I was 18 and had no clue. My mom & dad were there and I told them what was up.

While I'm gone...about 1/2 hour....the guy shows up at my house & tells my mom, 'Oh yeah my friend picked me up and I don't have a lot of time...can I see the guitar?'

My mom has NO CLUE WHAT GUITAR they are talking about and goes & gets my 2 pride & joys...the Rich's and says 'I'm not sure which one it is and HANDS HIM my guitars in the FRONT DOORWAY of the house!! At that moment my dad says something to the effect of 'Honey...what's going on?' and mom turns her head...

In a split second the guy is down the driveway with my guitars and into a white chevy 'Luv' pickup...GONE!!!

WHAT FUCKIN' BALLS!!!!!!!

...and sadly a VERY stupid error by honest, trusting people.

It's always bugged me but there was somewhat of a happy ending....6 months later I got the insurance and with that money bought my first Jackson...RR0774...a black & brass custom.
