That was the price when I last checked. You forgot a G&G case $80 and shipping of $50 - $60 and a matching headstock is always a nice touch for $50.

I think thats a large part of why Lee is so backed up (last I heard the wait is like 16 months or more?) he makes guitars as good any company or luthier out there for an amazing price and he's not a jerk like some other guy I know *cough* Ed Roman *cough*. I definitely will get a guitar from him at some point (probably a neck thru though, since they are such a good deal) but its gonna be a little while. Maybe in the meantime he can get some help and knock the wait time down a little. Either way all you need to do is look at that custom beast that someone here got and you can see just how worth it a GMW is and from what many say (including alot here) they play as good as they look. I very nearly pulled the trigger on a Moser Bich that was up for dirt cheap on ebay a few weeks ago (you can see the guitar featured in his custom shop gallery) but someone beat me to the punch.
