Finally got a scalloped neck and put it on this strat body I've had a while. The scalloping is cool but it thrashes the fingers til you get used to it. I cant seem to put this one down, for now

looks cool.. I'm re-starting on a similar mutt, how deep are the scallops on yours? did you pre-order the neck or did you do the scalloping yourself?

The scallops are deeper than I expected, but according to Warmoth all the ones they do are the same cause they have a machine that does it. I was going to order one but right before I did I looked at their showcase section and they had exactly what I wanted with a nut and finish ready to go. All I had to do was remove finish from the frets with steel wool, install the tuners bolt it on and tweak the truss rod a little bit. I'm glad they had one ready or it woulda been 4 weeks to have it done
