Well on this on in particular... I find very interesting...

http://www.collectguitars.com/gear/dmcgee.php

1) he has the Phoenix Firebird that was refinned (I think by Brad K)
2) The black Strathead Charvel looks just like mine except for the pickups and other mods that were done by the previous owner
3) The controversial "I am mad at the JCF so I'll part this Charvel" guitar seems to be here too.
4) the Jackson that appears in that pictrure from Brad Gillis' page seems to be here too.

It just seems that if all of us look around we can place those Charvels and Jacksons in the hands of other people.

Well, the zipper one is a Charvel head:

Brad's is a Jackson and his is a tiger stripe design from the looks of it:

Pretty similar nonetheless...

It's a distinct possibility that they're different guitars, but I am just curious because...

Well, if I took the trade, I couldn't sell it. Who would sell an artists' used guitar once acquired? It's a death-till-you-part scenario from my perspective. I'm really looking for historical value and not so much dollar value or aesthetics.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well I would but I'm one of the few people who I don't put any additional value on an instrument just because some other person or semi rockstar owned it

Now if Jesus came to me and handed me a guitar I'd keep it. I've seen Brad Gillis before and Brad Gillis is no Jesus

Yeah, I see the differences there. Also, the knob/switch config is different between the two.

I respect your opinion, Shawn.

But I doubt if you got Gilmour's original #1, Clapton's Blackie or Hendrix's strat, you'd talk the same way. And there are some other artists that are as high in my book as the aforementioned three. So their instruments would get the same treatment, I'd say.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

Let me guess:

1) Yngwie's 'Duck'
2) Vai's 'EVO'
3) Lynch's 'Mom'
