I am trying to make shipping arrangements right now hopefully a member here can help me out. To me for the price it would be worthwhile to get this thing into the USA. I have seen manufacturers in Japan make guitars after the artist endoresment runs out because of demand and sometimes they will leave a serial number off of the guitar or the logo. I bet it was a refin though because they love their Fender logos. It would not be cost effective to forge a guitar and get all those hard to find parts.

looks alot like a contempo strat I passed on last month. A few mods and you have a Gillis model.

I talked to brad last night at the show at bratfest in wisc.... jack is a friend of ours..
I dont think you have a thing to worry about loaning him the guitar... brads a good guy...

he will have to set it up his way though, uses 50 thru 13's and likes the bridge on a way slant for mass pull ups!

I just don't want to get hassled bringing something into the venue. Jeff Watson forwarded my email to their road manager Gary to ask him for passes but he still hasn't gotten in touch with me. gary is awesome, but a very busy guy,, he's pulled in about 50 directions over the course of the day...

I wish I could help, but to call jacks to get a hold of brad kinda looks weird..

we are invited to the PA show, and would love to go ,but sadly theres no way we can attend...
...we'll play catchup with them in vegas in fall...

best thing to do is go to the show... gary is around ,ask for him & let him know you were working with brad about the guitar and I am sure he will get you and the guitar to brad asap....
would be killer if brad played it that night !!!

BTW/ very nice guitar, I looked for one for quite sometime, but never found a clean one...

someone posted earlier that brad isnt all that,....I have been around floyded guitars since day one.....

I can safely say brad is hands down the master of the floyd rose trem ... nobody did it better back then and nobody even comes close today...

I should add, brad will never sell/trade his red fender...he plays it every night and loves that guitar to death...I wouldnt even go there with him on it.....

as far as his early serialized soloist goes... same thing.. I offered an astronomical amount for it , and I do mean astronomical.
he still chuckled , then said it had lots of sentimental value to him .

brad has recently started seriously collecting , not selling ,just buying form what I gather....
he's into "vintage" fenders and gibsons....
