Fender guitar need info

hey everyone i just bought a USA made Fender strat for $500.00
can anyone give me any info on it? did i spend to much? did i get a good deal? how much do they go for?

I don't know much about the overall guitar, but the N5 in the serial # means it's a '95 model. Sweet looking guitar. Congrats.

Yup, its a 95. My Lone Star strat has the same configuration. Yours looks like a standard Fat Strat. I paid $430 for my strat and I thought I got an excellent deal. Check out ebay I know that Lone Star Strats usually go $500-800, depending on the finish. Luckily yours is a sunburst, which is a popular finish with the fender crowd.

Looks like a run of the mill '95 American Standard or American Standard based model(I can't remember if the Loan Star, Roadhouse or Big Apples were out in '95, but they were just American Standards with different pickups and plastic) with the plastic changed to black. $500 seems fair for todays prices. I remember when something like this was $599 new!

you know what the pickups are texas specials and the lone star did come with them hummmm.......... , the humbucker was replaced with symour duncan distortion PU'S so im thinking it is a lone star.
