Check this one out. Neck thru Firebird Custom.

It is a custom order for a customer I saw yesterday. Looks cool with a harpoon head! Lee will do these with other options too i.e. dot inlays, binding, floyd, etc., but he pointed out to me NO JACKSON features i.e. sharkfins, pointy head etc. A steal at around $2500

+1 Personally I don't even like that head on the Rhoads guitars, but definitely not on a firebird!

I agree the headstock kills it. Its like the other Sandovals that have the harpoon headstock, it only looks right on the Randy V imho [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

did you happen to see any other neckthru firebirds in progress? Picking out a headstock for a firebird and not having the jackson-style headstock available was one of the hardest things I've done in my life.

Kinda of like a lot of women, nice looking from the neck down. Sharp and pointy at one end curvy at the other, doesnt flow well to me at least.
