Ed Roman Schon/Jackson Body blanks honesty????

Got a question. [img]/images/graemlins/help.gif[/img] Ed Romans site claims that he purchased all the remaining Schon guitar blanks(Ready for paint) from Jackson/ Charvel guitars. www.celebrityrockstarguitars.com/rock/schon.htm Is he on the level? They look great. Even if they were made to specs by him, or Jackson. However,It would be even better if he was telling the truth. Does anyone know of this sale of Schon body blanks from Jackson to Ed Romans?

This is what he did to me, I ordered a custom guitar like a certain artists guitar, I told him make it exactley like the artists, Got the guitar a year later and it was a bolt on and he told I forgot to mention that I wanted a neck thru that would be a 1000 dollars more. The funny thing was we went over the specs a year earlier and it was supposed to be neck thru as the artist never played a bolt on.

Someone I know who was working on the Schon guitars in 86 told me about 5 years ago about these. He said he could give me a phone # if I wanted to a friend that had all the unfinished Schon in a warehouse. So these might be real?

I am sure they are real just get the parts you need and put it together yourself or have someone else do it.

I am fairly confident that the leprechan did buy these body blanks, but that doesn't mean that's what you'll get if you buy one from him. I wouldn't put it past him to sell you a new repro and tell you its original. I've personally never had a bad experience with the guy and I have spoken to him alot over the years, but I know too many people who have had bad experiences to trust the guy. Deal with caution.

I doubt they're fakes. No way would that be worth doing. How many people actually want one? He probably got them for a few hundred bucks a piece.
