Pulled the trigger on a Gibson Faded Flying V. Sounds really good and looks great. I'm thinking of painting it white.....

Re: Gibson Flying V
that is one of the first fadeds with the ebony fretboard too. they swapped the pickups out too. nice score man! I just bought my first ever V last night as well, I posted a pic of it here. they are great guitars!the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

Re: Gibson Flying V
Mine had the ebony board too and i really think it is good to have the Ebony on these guitars since there is no maple cap. Defintly a nice guitar, what ball park did that thing cost?
I have played the newer faded ones and the neck is slightly thicker then its bigger brother (the one i have) i am wondering what the neck size is on the ones with the cresent moons.

Sweet!
Been eyeing those myself lately - especially the Crescent Moon inlaid model - I'd have it Schenkered with a Floyd and block inlays I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
