17th Street Guitars

Has anyone played one of these yet or know anything about them? I see they are building a replica of Uli Roth's Sky Guitar. They look pretty cool but I don't know a thing about them.

founded by john carruthers, who ran fender's custom shop, along with being in the biz for many years. our very own Ace was taught by him when he went to MI's luthiery program.

I see them advertised in GW all of the time. My question is...1500$ for a guitar with what looks to me, be a floyd knock off..

yeah, it's part of MI's schooling.

$1500 for a hand built us made guitar (especially one made by john carruthers) isn't high.

Pretty high quality axe, but not my bag.

Ace knows more about these definitely.
