  • Brian Moore I2000 series?

I've got a beat on one, but I know very little about them. I assume that these are imports? This one in particular is an I1F. Is $1000 too much? it's dead mint, the bridge has been upgraded to an OFR and the pickups have been swapped out as well.

    Thanks!

that is way too much for a korean import!!!
i series guitars go about $600, maybe more if it had piezo or the synth pickup.
for $1000, you can get a brian moore custom shop guitar which plays comparable to other custom shop guitars in the $1000-$2000 range.

Hi. I don't know that particular model, but dealer cost on their Korean guitars gets up into the $900 - $1000 area, so if this has a FR and a nice top (quilt or flame) it may be a good deal.

MAP on that guitar new is about $1350. $1000 used sounds a little high, but you said it's dead mint right? If it has a sweet top it may be a buy. See if you can talk him down another hundred.

(data187, FYI, BM customs shops start at about 2K dealer price)

i really like brian moore guitars and have owned 2 i series guitar.
i had an i2 les paul style and a i9 super strat type guitar. i got both used for approx $400 - $600 each.

i also had my eye on a c55 custom shop which sold used on another forum for $800 and see plenty on ebay go for $1000 range.

brian moore's might be expensive new, but they don;t hold their resale value.
