  • Olympic white finish on Fender American Strats

Anyone own one in this finish and have pics? Looking at available pics on the web, it's hard to get a feel for what the finish truly looks like. I assume it's not identical to arctic white and more like arctic white just as it's starting to fade; on newer models anyway. Am I right in my assumption?

Artic white is real bright white. I prefer it, I'm building an artic white strat right now.

I think it's the Hendrix Blackmore, Malmsteen(duck) white. I really like it and want a strat in that finish one o these days

Olympic white is an off white with a little, blue and brown tint added to the brite white base. It's a 1958 Cadillac color. I have a '63 Fender Jazz bass in that color that I refinished.

Thanx gentlemen. Sorta looks like the color starts off where I'd want it to eventually end up if I were to keep it. Oh well. Second choice comin' up!!

Oly White is the best color ever for a Strat. They look awesome once they age and start yellowing. Total Hendrix/Uli Roth/Malmsteen vibe.
