    UVA instruments

    I just stumbled across a link to this California based manufacturer, through a webpage of the Norwegian metal band Lumsk that has received some kind of endorsement deal.
    Their name is UVA instruments, and their product looks like pretty high quality stuff, that even has a pricetag that won't make you afraid of the dark! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
    I actually really like their Scorpio design, it is like a new shape but not too extreme like I always thought BC Rich's / Neal Moser's designs were.....anyway.. here is the link:

    They look pretty quality with great attention to detail, but I'm not at all sure about the shapes - that pentagram style might be OK for scary metal bands or kids, but not for me thanks.....

              The Scorpio isn't too bad, but I think the basses and violins look cooler.
              I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

                hehe, the baphomet is definately too much for me...but the scorpio looks way cool IMO!

                  The Scorpio is very cool and the price is not bad at all. No upcharge for a cocobolo top either. Very nice! Only 350 upcharge for 5A quilt? Awesome Cocobolo back plate shown in that picture too. Very reasonable prices. Seems they can make strat shaped bodies as well (from the custom page) they look more like the ibanez RG tho.

                  That Baphomet guitar is insanely ugly. Just hideous. [img]/images/graemlins/sick.gif[/img]
