This guitar is owned by a close friend. I know you guys just LOVE that. [img]/images/graemlins/poke.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] Any info would be appreciated, yes it will be up for sale, though this is not the topic of this post.
Serial number is 2111xx. 3 piece neck, pancake mahogany body, pickups have never been tested or even removed from the guitar. My friend bought it from the 1st owner less than 6 months after he purchased it in 1974.
It's been regularly maintained by a local luthier, but hasnt' been played much. A bit of the gold on the pickups and bridge has worn off. Good indicator of how much playing time this guitar has recieved over the years...
Any info you "experts" can provide me would be greatly appreciated.
I need someone's insight to current value, and opinions whether this is a ash or maple topped guitar. It appears to be ash to me. Regardless, here are pictures for everyone to enjoy!
