New EBMM Morse Y2D on order

Just ordered a Morse Y2D in de-purple burst. I had to have it once a saw these pictures from their open house. It should ship around 11/11.

Congrats wodka! I've had my Morse since 1991 and it will be buried with me - all other guitars get compared to my EBMM Morse. Did you order the Floyd version or the regular?

I also love the new Petrucci prototype, they showed a in-progress model again.

That is one sweet guitar! I saw Steve playing some type of sunburst model on Live 8 that was very cool. That purple one is great too, with the Floyd!

Should be a cool guitar. Let us know what you think of it. By the way, I'm guessing you've already seen the videos of Steve talking about and playing the new model? If not, go to his website and hunt around just a bit. They're well worth the time to watch and listen to.

Just went over there. Pretty cool. Did anybody notice the edit job of changing guitars half way through the second clip? The new model starts with cream colored pickups and ends with black.... [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

hey congrats!
EBMM guitars are one of the best in the world.
i own a EVH model since 8 years and it is a killer!
since 3 month i have a Petrucci too, and it is as nice as my EVH.
i love the feel of the unfinished birdseyenecks, they are perfect.

It should ship in 2 more weeks. A few others on teh EBMM board should have gotten them this week.

I love EBMM's style. Their lines are so fluid and on top are quality instruments. I owned one briefly, but sold it to finance another usa JAckson.

However, im gassing to PLAY a petrucci, and possibly buy one!

In addition to being an incredible player, Steve Morse is an incredibly nice and approachable guy. A lot of folks here in Augusta know him (he grew up here) and I have never met anyone who had anything bad to say about him.

Years and years ago, he was giving a clinic before a show and I had the chance to go to dinner with him and the owners of the store that sponsored the clinic. I was still in high school at the time, and Steve was very patient with my nagging questions and gave lots of encouragement about playing. He seems like a guy who really loves the instrument.
