It's funny you mentioned that. I spoke to his manager and joked around about throwing in 2 of them as well as dinner and drinks on MAB. My guess is that they'll throw them in courtesy of Dean. She told me that Michael is thrilled that I bought it from them.

Since Dean 'doesn't sell directly to the public' [img]/images/graemlins/refuse.gif[/img] they authorized a dealer (in Iowa of all places) to display it until I take possession. They're doing this as a Dean promomotion to bring folks into the store so they can gawk at it like a U.S. president in repose [img]/images/graemlins/what.gif[/img]

They assurred me that'll be a "Look, but <u>DON'T TOUCH</u> " scenario [img]/images/graemlins/nono.gif[/img]

Damn, they better not touch it! Doesn't make sense why Dean wouldn't ship it directly to you right away, though. Don't they have dealers in Florida?

Agreed. I left a fat deposit (1/3) on it and gave them a payment schedule. The dealer and Dean can do whatever they want with it until the last penny is paid, unfortunately. I wasn't too thrilled with the idea either, but it's the dealership's butt on the line if something happens to it. I will have it in 4-6 weeks, maybe sooner. This gives me an incentive to take possession of it all that much faster...
