What can you tell me about this neck? It comes on the Hot Rod Reissue, and I want to know if its a fast silm neck, or a big neck?

Re: Fender 7.25\" neck
7.25" is the radius of the fingerboard... that means the curvature of the fingerboard will be rounder than the flatter 9.5" radius on newer Fenders. You may experience some strings "fretting out" while bending and have to raise the action a little.
As far as the back shape of the neck on that particular guitar, I don't know.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Re: Fender 7.25\" neck
It's hard to say anything hard and fast about it. For the most part it seems like folks either won't care either way about neck radius or they rabidly prefer one extreme over the other.
In my own playing I spend most of my time on a PRS or a LP which is a 12" radius. When I pick up my reissue strat with a 7.25" radius it feels more compact and much easier to play most chords, but it feels cramped to solo and bend a lot on.
Take that with a grain of salt though, I know several people who are sick shred freaks on a 7.25" radius.
