Lee has told me few things about what has been goin and whats in the works for the new line on as well. Although I haven't seen the new headstock designs. I'm not local to him nor have I pestered him on letting me see them [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I know what kinda work Lee does and they will be beautiful and great playing guitars just like all of the GMW's are. The new line will be ready when its ready. I'm just franlky tired of hearing about it. Lets talk about them when they done and released; we all know it be "soon" too [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I just don't understand the statement "the guitars won't be unveiled until everything is ready". What does "everything means"? I have owned GMWs and the guitars are great and I would love to order a new one, but month after month after month I keep hearing things like "they will be out soon" or "its just a matter of Lee meeting with the lawyers to take care of some legal stuff" and its just disappointing not see any progress except for what the kind folks that have had the chance to visit his store have seen. Does soon mean this year, next year? When?

well, if lee puts up photo's for everyone to see he is risking not getting cetain patents on his stuff, which he is in the process of doing, if the headstocks were completely done and the paperwork was handled i'm sure he would post some pics or have someone post them, but as we speak neither one is finalized, but very close, and i think that glenn and myself have seen as close to a finalized headstock as could be, he still has a few more tweaks but overall the dimensions are done.
and i do honestly think that 80% of us here will love them, you can't please everyone just look at some of the limited guitar runs that are attempted here, it's hard even getting just 10 people to agree on one guitar [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

If you have ever worked with lawyers, you'd understand why this is taking so long. Most lawyers, asshole to asshole, couldn't make a beerfart in a whirlwind.

and not only expensive they are slow too. I'm sure the PAF of a neck design/shape and TM is a red tape nightmare. It also probably isn't a supper speedy process either. I don't blame Lee for anything, he's able to get orders out the door in the process so thats a good thing. As far as the new headstocl sshapes go I just don't wanna hear about them until they are released. So much speculation. I'm taking the "good things are worth waiting for" approach on these babies [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
