Very cool. The first real Fender Strat I ever got to play was a '79 Anniversary. I'm glad to see that you have one in what appears to be fantastic shape.

If you are interested, Tom Wheeler's "The Stratocaster Chronicles" has some interesting info on the CBS era and the so-called "Smith Strats".
