I think those dudes over at Boogie Street (or whatever it's called) had a pretty similiar painted Washburn, one in red also. They had some REALLY sweet axes that got me all horned up n shit. Thats when I said fuck it and snagged the Death Angel from Matts [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Yeah I got my inspiration from the guys over at boogiestreet, they wouldn't paint my guitar though, so I found someone who would!

Why wouldn't they paint it? Cuz it wasn't new??? [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] I contacted Mike Learn and he had no problem painting an axe for me. Now I just have to make sure I have the sickest idea possible before shipping it out to him.

They probobly wouldnt paint it, because those crazzee paint jobs they get are all from Chewy, and Chewy doesnt answer to them.........

Boogie Street are just a dealer...all their paint comes from Chewy at the Washburn Custom Shop. Nothing is done in house except repairs and set ups.

Yeah I knw Eric at boogie street, bought a whole bunch of stuff from Eric and I knew chewy, what I said was sort of a round about way of saying Chewy wouldn't do it, I tried to get him too, but since Dime's contract was up with washburn they wouldn't touch anything past the march 30th date for custom orders to be completed. No worries, I asked Ripper the guy who owns the guitar I got the inspiration from and Eric if it was okay, as I had a similar idea about 4 years ago for my other Dime 3, but never could find anyone to do it justice!

anyhow, thanks for the compliments, and it's cleared now and being buffed and polished, I can't wait guys, this thing will fucking kick my ass!

here are the final pics before re-assembly











I love this thing, it's perfect to me, it will be a perfect addition to my arsenal, I will play this on stage and have a few more done like this, maybe next one in red!
