Seriously, that's giving me a boner. I was tossing around the idea of having my silver KV4 painted with some kind of custom graphic, because it has many scratches and dings on it. I am pretty much decided now that I am gonna have it done. I just have to decide on a graphic.

What's the deal with the headstock logo? Did he just mask off a small rectangle and leave the original logo? Do you have a close up.

if i got something painted by mike i'd say use your imagination, but make sure it has a skull pile and i would have NO worries about how it would look cos i KNOW mike would go out of his way to paint the most kickass graphic ever! i love his work. every single one, even if it's not after my taste is superb

Hey guys
it cost me 450$ canadian
it was painted by a guy named Jim Chambers, and it's fucking OUT of this world! I'm so glad I did this, the logo on the headstock was something I wanted to keep, I was going to have one made but it would never be right. so he taped a rectangle but in the shape of a RAZORBLADE!!! so it worked out perfect! I will get the hardware on it tonight and rewire it and then have pics up by the weekend!

Also with the logo idea, it was a good place to have the lightning bolts originate from! It's hard to explain but I'll have some good photos up this weekend!

that looks awesome. gold is used as a base coat with either flake or pearl, then trans green is put over it. thats a true candy color. sometimes flake or pearl is also added to the color or clear coats to add some depth.

$450 for that paint job is fucking KILLER dude! I've got my project ready for shooting now and its not cheap or easy by any means, and thats just a solid metallic colour! I've always wanted a lightning bolt custom graphic ml/stealth, so I'm absolutely DROOLING here, great stuff!

Beautiful color. If anyone has any ideas as to what paints to use to get that, let me know. I would like to paint a strat that trans-green.
