Maybe I'm asking for too much, but here is my situation. For a long time I have been looking for an Ibanez RG 565. After months of looking without luck, I have located two that are for sale. One is in New Orleans and the other one in California. Both axes are in excellent condition. The problem is that the owners have opted not to sell to anyone outside the CONUS. I've pleaded my case with the without luck. The seller in California says that he would ship the guitar to a CONUS address, but the person that he will ship the guitar must be the one sending the money order to him. The seller in New Orleans doesn't care if I send the money to him directly, but he will only ship to the CONUS.
I'm looking for a forum member that would be willing to receive the guitar (if I end up buying it) from one of the sellers and hen would be willing to ship the guitar to me in Puerto Rico. Of course, I would pay for all the shipping charges. Maybe I could also come to an agreement with whoever serves as an intermediary, for their trouble. I don't have much money, but I figure I things like instructional videos and dvd concerts that I would be willing to share with whoever helps me with this. I'm only venturing to to do this here on this forum because I trust the majority of the forum members here. I also would prefer someone on the East Coast or Florida, because it would be cheaper to then ship the guitar to PR. I hope I'm not offending anyone with this odd request.
