• BC Rich

hey I'm new to the JCF boards, so yeah, anyways, my question is, does anyone know when BC Rich will start producing more NJ series guitars? Like in shapes of the ironbird or Jr. V?

Welcome to the board. I wouldn't count on Ironbirds or JR. V's. They weren't even that popular when they were popular!
Where in Connecticut are you?

When did Warlocks go from 24.75 to 25.5 scale? I just read this somewhere and was unaware of this.

Don't do things the hard way, go for an older USA BCRich if your gunna get one... or even an older import. It's just not worth taking the chanceon the new stuff. Chances are, you'll get crap.

Re: BC Rich

Burn is right. Your better of taking your chances on a cheap old one from Ebay that is 10x more likely to play like a dream then to get a new import model which is largely crap made out of questionable wood.

Look for an old Gunslinger or Assassin model and you will NOT be disappointed. If your into the Ironbird you can find old USA ironbirds on ebay quite often for a very low price.

I agree with the other guys, I love older BC Rich and I only own older ones, the new stuff can't touch anything they put out back then.

Re: BC Rich

The only reason I have a new Rich in my collection is a Body Art Ironbird that I originally was going to put on the wall... I just happened to set it up and it was "okay".
No contest to the ST3 I own.

And it still doesn't leave the wall too often....

Re: BC Rich

I've played alot of new BC Rich's the only nice one I've played in the last 6 years or so (non USA) is the one that I own and that was a limited production run for NAMM so I think the quality was much higher. Its a very nice import model. Pretty hard to find nowadays, though that idiot Ed Roman will charge you an arm and a leg and find one for you

Not up to par with what they used to be. I can say this because I own Riches from the 70s, 80s, 90s and an 04. Basically my main beef is the finishes are not up to much. The paint is brittle and there is overspray. Plus the parent company is bunch of twats.
