Sorry mate, but not in the forseeable future. I do like a lot despite the idiots at HHI. It's my tribute to Chuck

D'oh. Typo. I meant "I do like it a lot despite the idiots at HHI. It's my tribute to Chuck"
I'll fight you for the black one Paul! (its the only one without that huge hunk of metal scarring the otherwise beautiful guitar).
Kidding, I'd love one but it ain't in the cards right now. Doesn't stop me from looking. Speaking of that, this may interest you Paul, I had my eye on it but I literally am putting the down payment on my custom through tomorrow so its not gonna happen for awhile.
Nothing wrong with a good bolt on. My custom is gonna be a bolt on. The idea that neck thru's are somehow better than bolt on, is a myth (especially bolt on's with a sculpted heel, sadly those NJ's didn't have sculpted heels) I assume you have played one of those very old NJ guitars? Cause if you haven't let me tell they are great guitars. Worth 400 bucks certainly. Maybe not much more than that though.
I'd buy a US Stealth too (over the NJ version) if I could find one but as you know, don't see to many of those

I don't think that was necessarily Sanctuary's point. It is just the whole thing about BC Rich. The neck-thru, the amazing upper-fret access, the "R" on the headstock.
I wouldn't mind it, as I said I got a bolt on Jackson custom..
That NJ doesn't have the R headstock, but it is that same old style stealth headstock, its a very old NJ. Your right about the upper fret access. BC Rich neck thru's are in my opinion the best in the business, there is literally nothing to impede your access to those upper frets. But the fact remains that its pretty tough to snag a neck thru Stealth these days, if they do go up on ebay (and they do occasionally) they are usually snatched up quickly by collectors such as Sanctuary. I think I mentioned it on the other BC Rich thread but about 2 and a half years ago I almost got a USA stealth for 850 but it got snipped at the end of the auction. It was either dark blue or black (hard to tell cause the pictures were pretty bad). Don't think that one had a Kahler either.
