• Gibson Flying V - Done

Here's my faded Cherry flying V that I had painted white, it looks awesome! 100x better in person, but here are some crappy pics. I'm very happy with the looks and tone, this one is definately a keeper. The crescent moon inlays really fit the guitar well, I'm not a fan of dot inlays anyway.

Reminds me of James Hetfield's white Gibson flying V he used in the beginning; that's a really nice guitar

Well, the faded series have only been around for a few years so that eliminates GMW

Seriously, that is very nice looking - it is such a classic looking Flying V now.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

Very cool. I've always wanted a white V. Guess I never thought about grabbing a faded V and doing a refin. So who did the refinish?

Re: Gibson Flying V - Done

Thanks everyone! A local airbrush artist did the work for me. He has done numerous pieces for me in the past on my motorcycles and is highly recommended.

I got the SG faded Cherry with the crescent moon inlays, I was thinking of doing mine in black with EMG's too.
