a band we're good friends with got a schecter endorsement deal. as i'm looking for a new guitar (and don't want to go esp - my lead guitar player is endorsed by esp) i was thinking maybe i should look at these.
so, basically, i know NOTHING about schecter guitars. i wonder if you guys could be so kind and tell me the basic things about them....what's the good ones, what should i stay away from, etc.
i'm looking for a soloist/dinky shaped guitar (so basically strat shaped), 2 humbuckers, 3 way switch, 24 frets, preferably a see through color, no dot inlays. either fixed bridge or floyd rose style tremolo, but if a floating trem, then a good one. i hate guitars with cheap ass trem systems.
and of course, are they any good in general, or are they all crap except for the usa custom shop ones?
thanks in advance
