• Pictures of Fender Mexico Plant!

Hey guys,
This is George from KramerForum.com - long time no speak! Someone on KF posted links to a cool tour of Fender Mexico. The pics originate from the site of a Fender distributor in Russia. Enjoy 'em, always fun to see these kinds of things.

That first pic looks like an aisle in home depot. Amazing the money fender can save by relocating a few miles south of the border. NAFTA, We hafta. Remember that one?

Wow, that looks like a nice place to work. Pretty impressive.

Mexican Strats are really pretty good guitars. It's amazing they can offer that kind of quality for $369 retail.

Ohh dude, you have no idea. I relocated a factory (losing my and 100 other jobs in the process) from Clearwater, FL to Tijuana just up the road from this Fender factory.
I can tell you stories on how US and foreign companies operate down there and how they save some SERIOUS jack.

You should try some of the burritos they sell across the street on a vendor wagon (no joke). They are unreal. Those folks eat them for breakfast!! So it is no surprise.
